    Description

    General Forrest Monument color postcard. Circa 1910. Collected by great-uncle as a Marine on a Navy ship that traveled the world, very early 1900s. He kept collection in a wooden box for many years. I'm going through it, downsizing. Believe monument was erected in 1905 and removed in 2013, except for pedestal.  ORIGINALLY SHOWED WRONG POSTCARD BACK - PLEASE SEE CORRECT PHOTOS!
