Up for auction is a complete overhaul/refurbish do-it-yourself kit for the awesome Ensoniq DP4's
We all know how much we love this awesome piece of gear, however if it isn't maintained and maintenance performed on it you could suddenly completely have a diaster on your hands as well as losing the functionality of it all together. I have received several emails so this is a kit that will cover all your refurbishment performance and have your processor working at optimal performance. Now, this kit is not for a novice. It will be for the tech savy who knows how to use a soldering/desoldering irons well and being statice discharge precautions at the same time while working. You will also get a step-by-step email of how to completely use this kit and refurbish your unit. Also, if you have any issues or questions I will help you through the process. This kit will include the following:
1) Complete power supply refurbish kit as seen posted .
2) New top shelf long lasting battery!
3) Replacement capicitors for the main board and power supply for optimal performance. There is (6) caps.with this kit.
4) This kit has all (10)  voltage regulators that go into the  board. These are Motorola top grade regulators with each marked on the back in accordance with the original regulators as VR1, VR2 etc: This will also help in no mistakes.
5) New latest OS EPROM set.
6) New parameter encoder.
You will not find a valued kit like this of high end parts anywhere and the value is just a small investment to keep that processor from going dead. Remember, Ensoniq power supplies get very hot. I have over 30 years remedy this issue and even improve performance. If you are the one reading this auction and are tech savy with a skill set to install, you will save hundreds of dollars from a tech shop installing a complete refurbished kit as this auction details. Even if some of the items are already in your unit like the latest OS eproms, just stored the extras and keep them for future use as it is a good insurance as some of these replacement parts are becoming very hard and rare to find and "life cycle" will eventually happen to most. The picture of the parameter encoder is depicted on the single auctuon I have posted for it. If your parameter encoder happens to be good and maybe have a volume pot bad instead, you made request that instead of the encoder.
