    Description

A virtually extinct Sphere 900 9-band inductor-based console EQ (Led Zeppellin III-era) which is the same as the Electrodyne 712 eq. Recently racked and serviced by Orphan Audio ( VERY deep dive, they found a resistor that was wrong from the factory) Rack has external power supply and is wired up ready to accept a 2nd module should you ever find one. Incredible, unique sound. Tone can even vary with signal gain...  if you've heard an Electrodyne 511 EQ it's like that but with 9 bands and selectable 5k/6.4k/8k high band. LED glows red when EQ is engaged.  I can find almost no evidence of these changing hands in the past 20 years to gauge pricing, they are truly unobtanium these days. Mojo on par with LANG PEQ-2 and Pultec EQP1A-3 but much much more versatile (I have owned both)
